Randomly woke up very early. Prob the snoring bull beside me... that's done it. Any way got up, thought need to be up in an hour and well, awake now...

So looking out the window- rain again. great. The weather the last 2 weeks has been horrendous. Whatever happened to the nice summer we were all going to have. ?
It is the 17th July and this is peak summer... > well not around here it is not lol..

Quick coffee before work. Notebook's open so Ill randomly blog lol..

This is earliest Ive been up on a Saturday for a while... Tonight we are going to Tommy and Junes to help them celebrate their ruby wedding. They were married 40 years ago today.. Now that's staying power...

I remember going up to their house in Irvine with Maryann when it was their 25 wedding anv! lol... That's us showing our age...

Anyway this is to them. Happy ruby wedding and here is to the Golden Wedding lol...

Time to scoff coffee and head to work soon..

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
