2010 Hol.. Mon 2/8/10

Follow on from yesterday... Holiday now booked for next week. This is a test as never stayed in a caravan for a week. Going to Haven Blue Dolphin in Yorkshire, near Scarborough. Looking forward to it, kids will have a ball. Place is near Filey..

Place has a lot to do around it, so looking forward to spending time with family and seeing kids happy. Good thing is might add a day or so onto end of hol via a travel lodge should we venture to Alton Towers or something.....

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
