Day off today. Went a final run in prep for sat. Up to Murkirk, then Drumclog, then back done to Galston and back to Mauchline.

1 puncture and an old woman clip my bike with her car. Ffs. Hope it's not an omen. Lol.

Pannier fitted the mora. Then pack. All ready. I hope. Current total 25 quid off 500. - thanks all

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
