Well its been a good week off. As you know the Scotland cycle was done and more importantly we are so close to our £1000 target. Arrived home on wed night from Gretna on the train and declared the next 4 days recovery time. Last night headed to Ayr for a nice meal at Atrium and caught up with some good chat.. Even ended up in CDM if it was rather rubbish for an hr anyway.

Today, cycled about collecting cars far and wide to bring them home. Chilled and caught up on much TV. tonight more of the same. - Much required after this weeks efforts.

Got a Christening tomorrow so looking forward to helping a special person celebrate her wee bundles of joys special day....

then BANG... back to work Monday.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
