Road Trip!

Well on the dawn of a major road trip to our cousins in the town of Soest near Amsterdam. leave our home in South West Scotland, mora 8am, via Hinckley for lunch with the Reilly's and deliver Scott's new bike 2 weeks prior to the London to Brighton night cycle.

Just finished packing, the addresses are in the Sat Nav, will be an early night. - looking forward to it.

Off for 16 days - Wooohooo

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
