Salou [Blog] - Thurs
As usual as many of my friends comment your family holiday always goes really quickly. Past 4 days have been nice lazy ones, but any 1 that knows me I get itchy feet really easily - lol.
Andrew and Euan have made a hardcore group of pals who seem to spend most of the bloody day together. Euan was very clingy first couple days but now getting him to stay put is a challenge lol.
Hotel we are staying in is ok. Basic. Entertainment team are very good. There is plenty of kids about, but clearly a hotel for the younger generation, but the hotel team seem to accommodate to both very well.
This is my 1st (or our) 1st to mainland Spain. I was here in 1983 near Malaga, obv with little memory as I was 9 lol.
This is a VERY busy place. The usual bars, lots children friendly. Usually have the same routine. Quiz ... bingo. Lol for which we have participated in lol.
Had the usual positive and negative meal experience ranging from 34e inc wine to a mammoth 80e 2 nights ago.
Reason I say this, last 4 hols have been all inc and being honest I'm surprised at how little we have spent (so far! Lol).
Day 2 was only really overcast day but that sky turned blue by 3pm. Other than that we have had very hot and sunny weather. +34.
So heading to Barcelona for an overnight stay and 2 days in this City that I've never visited. Stadium as well. Can't wait.
Still got Porta Adventura next week and the watermark also. So lots to do.
