Introducing Cassie - latest addition to our family

Last night me and Euan made a 120 mile round trip to Dumfries to collect the latest addition to our family - an 8 week Springer Spaniel. -

After much discussion the 4 of us have decided to call her Cassie.

Very well mannered she has settled in very well. Kept Dad up most of night 1 lol. But he did not mind.

Lots of happy doggy years ahead. !

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
