3.6.12 - Sun AM Walk

Up early this morning to take kids and their 2 pals Callum and Jamie for a long walk. We all grabbed the guns and decided that we were going hunting for zombies.

After 3 miles we are at Catrine House. They are all playing on the swings trampoline etc. I'm blogging on my phone, having a coffee chilling on the veranda.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
