Schools Back and High School first day

Well summer holidays are over and for the kids in this area of Scotland go back today. - yes on a Friday. Why I don't know either. ?

Euan moves up to Primary 4 and Andrew starts Secondary School at Auchinleck. - same 1 I left 21 years ago.

How I feel old.

Anyway. Hear that ? Silence !! Lol

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
