2013 Pedalo

Back last year this was the first ever Sportive I signed up for. Could not do it because of my Stores stocktake. After (Sept 2012) I signed up for the 2013 version. Thought 2 stocktakes same dates 2 years running, never happen - ?? guess what..

Aye happened. Been bugged for month to change dates, tried, but thanks to a National Company Conference - this year Ill give it a go. Well did pay it over a year ago. Cant wait - Right on the back of Arran. Skye, Ireland then this. FUCK thats 4 weeks on a trot- Love August. x

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
