London Day 4: Easter Sunday 8th April 2012: Trip to LegoLand Windsor.

Today was all about the kids and involved a trip to Lego land at Windsor.
I will admit I did not actually plan any of the traveling for this, unaware of where to go initially, doing it as we went lol. This was a major fail on my part.

Last 3 full days were clearly showing. We all had +10 hrs sleep and did not leave the hotel until 10am. Plan was to leave at about 830am.

I thought. It's Windsor. Say an hr. The actual journey time was 2hrs 40 mins. 3 underground lines, 2 trains then a bloody bus, so we we did not arrive until gone 1230pm... Lost a couple of hours but place was open till 6pm, so we planned to stay until the end..

Any1 that knows me I moan about prices and this would have been 1 if we were paying full price.. Luckily a combo of tesco vouchers and free entry meant the cost was very little - lol. Result was my preferred comment!

Kids had a ball here. Went on most of the rides, twice. The Star Wars exhibition was cool. As was Mini-Land lol. My feet were pretty sore. A combo of burst blister on each heel and dodgy trainers lol. So I was flagging a bit.

Naturally we were there till shutting time, then we went to get the bus back to Windsor. We spotted a family friendly pub and decided to stay and have dinner. Afterwards we took some photos near the castle then headed back to London on the train....

Bus, 2 trains and 3 under ground trains..... Lol I won't go on.. Opps I already did... Haha.

Was a great end to our last day on our London break..

Monday morning (right now as I type on the iPad), we are heading back to Glasgow on a very packed train. Obv we have booked seats. And a table which is good... It's been a great short break. Not cheap but London never is. Will defo be back and already planning our next trip somewhere lol...
