Hello Everybody

I am sending out this email to everyone in my address book

Our Playgroup Mauchline Burns Bairns Under 5's Group which provided 2.5 hrs of pre-school education for the children of Mauchline is under threat of closure due to proposed Council Budget Cuts !

If the group closes - my 3 year old daughter will miss out as will many more in the village and surrounding areas !!

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
