Holiday- Day 1

Ok so day 1 of the weeks holiday and well fact, I did absolutely nothing… Prob as I went to my bed at gone 330am after watching most of the Oscars… It was good to see that shit film Avatar get sod all in the winning dept… (well only 3 or so awards).

I was still up at 8am as soon as MA was out the door…

Kids to school some house work and a quick trip to Tesco…. The way I look at it is I can do NOTHING as I am on holiday…. LOL

So later in an attempt to justify some meaning to the day, I started gutting some cupboards out as I did say this week I would spring clean… Tues the plan is to spent a bit of time painting/ touching up the mucky walls in this house. I mean I don't know how have the marks that appear on the walls get there… And you can always tell when Andrew has had bloody pasta. Telling you a dog has better manners lol..

Anyway got to watch the Hurt Locker, Avatar and the Blind Side this week so that will also keep me busy…

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
