As I contemplate this change I have came to the conclusion that it's just something I will need to get used to. Maybe on a positive it will keep me out the pub lol. Starts wc 8th May. So 'shrugs shoulders' and gets on with it. Oh how times have changed.

> Just walked around this 4 bed 2 year old place we call home. And note that 4 doors need the handles/locks sorted. Today the last straw happened. Front door lock broke again. 2nd time. What I mean is that the door will shut but you cannot open it with the handle. Also the lock was busted.     At 11am I could not get in the front door so I swiftly kicked it, which obv was a rather childish thing to do! Luckily I had the back door key and got in.. while knocking the bin over and all the rubbish going over the floor… Tried to reopen the front door from the inside, again it would not work, so kicked it again.. Decided to chill for half hour before thinking of options to sort.. Had lunch with Euan then realised I could phone the RBS home emergency service on my royalties gold account to phone through a repair. So I phoned and within 5 mins, lock smiths were on phone and I had faith in my day again. So at about 530 the guy(s) turned up. Drove d...

> In what has been a random wake up, so a thought……, Ill get up and have eh a pint of coffee in my star trek mug. Yes very sensible I hear you say or in other works go back to bed you arse.. As I read the inscription on my mug it reads.. ‘its life but not as we know it’… this got me thinking, what sad bastard randomly wakes up at 3am and makes himself a coffee?- Well that would be me.. As I walk around in my dressing gown around my small kingdom there is an eary silence. I can hear people sleeping and erm 1 person slightly snoring.. I stare out the front window and see some random out walking a dog.. WTF I mean its 3am! In the kitchen I look out the window and observe a cat sitting on my decking. Shit on it and I will eat you for breakfast I mutter to myself… Naturally there aint much happening at this time. Any sensible bugger is sleeping so it will be me in the next 5 mins once I post this utterly nonsense blog..

> Ok so day 1 of the weeks holiday and well fact, I did absolutely nothing… Prob as I went to my bed at gone 330am after watching most of the Oscars… It was good to see that shit film Avatar get sod all in the winning dept… (well only 3 or so awards). I was still up at 8am as soon as MA was out the door… Kids to school some house work and a quick trip to Tesco…. The way I look at it is I can do NOTHING as I am on holiday…. LOL So later in an attempt to justify some meaning to the day, I started gutting some cupboards out as I did say this week I would spring clean… Tues the plan is to spent a bit of time painting/ touching up the mucky walls in this house. I mean I don't know how have the marks that appear on the walls get there… And you can always tell when Andrew has had bloody pasta. Telling you a dog has better manners lol.. Anyway got to watch the Hurt Locker, Avatar and the Blind Side this week so that will also keep me busy…
