Salou [Blog] - Week 2

Thought as Im chilling on the balcony, post a quick blog. Since Barcelona things were quiet for a few days. The customary pool, music, entertaining the kids and chilling. Even won the bingo and a bottle of champers. - which in the end tasted rather rank lol. But what do you expect. Last night we used our prepaid tickets for PortaVentura - 1 of the largest theme parks in Europe. This has the largest roller coaster in Europe. - not for the faint hearted. Great place. Very busy and being honest would take you several days to get round. - we had 6 hours. The big roller coaster is called the Shambhala: Maryann and Andrew went on it. After waiting 1 hr 45 mins to get on it. Lol. Me and Euan did a lot of the other less fearful rides. The place shut at midnight giving us time to see a lot of the park. There was also a cool fireworks display. Lol We are looking into the waterpark towards last full day of our holiday. Moneys a bit tight now so we will see lol. Had some great meals recently espe...

Enjoying 2 mid week days off. Painted the first of the 4 bedroom planned to do by the end of the week I am off at the start of Feb. Nearly broke my back putting the wardrobes back. lol. Sensible thing would have been to get some one to help me but oh no, not Alex lol.. I opened a cabinet in Andrews room that was our old hi fi cabinet where we normally used to store all my CDs etc. I swear Ive not been in it for 2 years. lol. Holds a collection of about 100 CDs, everything from genesis singles, (yes when the released songs lol), to the dizzy hits of Ibizia hits 2002. Clearly the rhythm here is that Ive not bought CDs for years, and I think back as to how many thousands I spent on wages on CDs. Anyway I'll look through them and see if there is any ripping to the ipod lol... Today- More relaxing. Nip into town and get the stuff for Sat's burns supper lol...
