So having done some research on the web for our pending upgrade to HD TV the reviews seen to be good. I was a bit concerned about the lack of channels but on reading these will increase over time.

Who out there currently has sky hd? it it worth it? obv my reason for going for the deal today was value for money prob more so also that our current sky plus box goes upstairs for us in our room and more for kids..

I may look into way of extending the sky viewing into the kids rooms via some link via this box upstairs.

We have a 40” HD Samsung ready TV so the first experience of viewing will be interesting especially through the surround cinema speakers in the living room…

catch me gadget freak lol….

well if anyone has experienced HD tv let me know?

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
