I plan to Blog the LEJOG adventure that starts on Saturday, and will use this as a memory of the adventure. 

Tonight Ive finalized the routes and itinerary and will pack my stuff tomorrow. With 2 days left to work, we are getting close to the D-Day.-

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
