RIP PENNY HAMILTON :((

Learned today of the sad passing of 1 of my Parents Collies - Penny.

Only aged 9, she had been ill for sometime and today went to the big dog place in the sky.

Sadly Cassie never got to meet her as she's still housebound till 2nd jag.

Penny was a great sister to her brother Bob. And companion to my Mum and Dad.

RIP PENNY PAL XXXX

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
