Yesterday I had a fantastic day. Breath-taking literally with the route I took up Goat Fell , on Arran . I got the 945am ferry over and headed out of Brodick and towards Glen Rosa. - My route was to take me past the campsite then up through the Glen.. Glen Rosa At top of the Glen you then turn right and head up over the three Beinns. This involved some big steep clambering over rocks just to find the paths again.. The scenery was amazing... By this time I had walked around 8 miles and was feeling it with the heat. If I had came up the normal route I would have done it in half the time... but not have had as much fun. Goat Fell Summit It was obviously quite busy when I got to the top, prob around 15 people at the top, including someone setting up a para-glider for some summit fun. rather them than me lol....

Morning people. Sitting on the Arran Ferry awaiting it to depart from Ardrossan. Like last week when I done Ben Lomond, another day trip to see some views. Today's warm. Will be 26/27 deg. There is not a cloud in the sky. I have sun cream this time !! Just awaiting the ferry to leave. It's busy. As you would expect lol. I'm off for a coffee. Will blog later. Perfect walking weather. !

Another great day, and another great day off. Today I got the bike back out and decided to do the cycle route with Neil that runs along the clyde and fourth canal all the way to the Falkirk Wheel and back. A very flat route so was a great cycle. We started at around 1030am and was back ar Loch 27 by 3pm. 45 Miles done... Great Time was had. Best day walking this year so far. Probably as it has been so bloody long since Ive done any exercise.... So following on from blog from top... Left home at 730 and I was at the car park at Rowardennan Hotel just after 9am.... This was my 3rd ascent of Ben Lomond. Last 1 in 2011 was wet windy foggy and non eventful... I was aware of some really great weather so I took full advantage, tho I am paying for it now... burnt to a crisp.! - LOL Ben Lomond is a solitary and distinctive peak to the E of Loch Lomond. From the Arrochar Alps, to the NW, Ben Lomond appears to have a conical summit but there is a craggy corrie high on its N slopes. N slopes are steep and craggy but S slopes are easy to moderate. The normal access routes lead from the S and do not encounter the crags until near the summit. Ben Lomond has two parallel SSE ridges, to the W is the Ptarmigan Ridge and to the E the Sron Aonaich ridge. The "tourist" path cuts a broad swathe from Sron Aonaich to the summit. The as...

So that's the stocktake over and things should be back to normal with my full attention towards my own new store by end of week. 3 months I've been running 2 stores and that time is coming to an end !. At Christmas I bought new walking boots. - Tonight I've packed the ruc sac. Made some sandwiches and alarms set for 6am. - heading for some me time up towards Loch Lomond and taking a jaunt up Ben Lomond. Shake the cobwebs away. Taking advantage of the good weather I hope. This will be my 3rd time up it and the last 2 have been wet and miserable. Wish me luck for the weather !!

Well not long home. Was in work at just before 9am. Long day. But productive. - annual stocktake. No major fuck ups so far. Fingers crossed and touch wood. Heading to my kip and will be back in prob by 730 am the Mora. For day 2. - roll on when ever I finish on Monday. Then that's it till September in my own store. 👍

Morning blog. Quick note to self. Go back to sleep. Was in bed around 10pm and woke at 4am. Now canny get back to sleep. Staring at my phone. Need to get up at 730. For a nice +12hr shift stocktaking. Oh how my life is so exciting ! Lol. Chelsea won the champions league even if I'm 20 quid down in my ladbrokes account. - still good to see. Any way. I've demolished a pint of water. Been to bog. Now back in bed. - night team !! See u in 3 hrs lol.

So heading into another weekend with me working. Stocktaking at the store I am baby sitting till the manager gets back - which is late next week. Then I can start to get my life back. I'm in next weekend again in my own store then from that, things should be back to normal. Productive day today, warehouse counted. 2nd stocktake 2 weeks running. I'll be glad once 6ish on Monday comes. Another 12 hr shift on Sunday. Pish : but needs must. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

2.25am. I need to get up at back of 7. Fell asleep at 8pm. Woke at midnight. - I never learn. Currently staring out window. Thinking. It's mid May and We have hardly had any sun yet. In fact the weather recently has been fucking awful. What has happened to our Summer. ? - in fact we have not had 1.. I've recently bought a new expensive BBQ and Chimea. And have hardly used them yet. Typical.

Tonight I went over 10k following. I'll hit 10k followers soon. This means nothing to most- I am just a nutter obsessed with numbers. Also I start to think do I need a twitter doctor. ? Do they exist ? Instead of AA is there a TA ? And I don't mean the army haha. People always ask how do you deal with a time line that flows faster than a river. ? Answer is LISTS. You make it to this list you are Twitter Royality. Even Lady Gaga hasn't made that list. And she follows me. .... Lol.

so earlier post commented about me being a lazy bastard for the last prob 4 weeks. no energy blah blah. so I am sitting thinking. This aint me... so back with a vengance on Tues, shake the cobwebs out my system and get on with it.... 32 mile cycle from Glasgow to the Falkirk Wheel which I have never seen.... If confident I might cycle back... Will wait and see... Tues or Thurs... My days off... So Hammy will be back... Then a few other things in the pipeline.. Week from 2/6/12. #- Snowdon, Scafel Pike and Ben Nevis 3 days running. This is purley for pleasure. No competition for timing... Me and a tent.... Detail to follow.

For the last week I've been feeling like utter shit and quite honestly it's getting me down. Partly is also been making me an extremely lazy bastard and I've no energy or willingness to do anything. For anyone that knows me this is not like me. Walking. Gym. Bike. Have not been happening recently and I can feel it. I need to give myself a fucking shake Anyway as I was up before 6. Again on a previous blog. I'm away back to bed. I know I need a lecture. 😳

Worked last weekend. And the 2 before it. This weekend I'm stock taking in my old store as 'I have too...' as its my stocktake. And next weekend I'm doing the store I'm watching. Lol. So all boring here. Nothing. Nada. going slightly mad. That will be every weekend in fuckin May worked. Not that I'm moaning ......

Today we went up to Glasgow as we all had a rare bank holiday day off. An afternoon in the City and of course we went to see the Avengers Assemble film at Cineworld. Ive not really seen most of the films that lead to all the characters of Marvel appear in the same film but I have to admit it was a great film and full of explosions action and of course  Scarlett Johansson  was in it lol... 3 Peaks Personal Challenge- PLAN has been arranged. 4.6- Travel to Rynys Camp Site.  5.6- 7AM Climb Snowdon then travel to  Barn Door Campsite , 6.6 7AM Climb Scafel Pike then big drive to Glen Nevis camp site... long journey 7.6 7AM Climb Ben Nevis...  then hame! happy hammy in 1993 personal journey. nae fund raising this this time. lol... LOL
