Wow. Feb is moving very quickly. Not much happening over next 2 weeks. All work. No play. Working flat outolling 25.2 when I'm off for 9 days. This is when we go to Arran for the weekend, with in in-laws who are celebrating their ruby wedding.

On that Sunday I'm cycling around Arran for the Vanessa Riddle appeal. See previous post. I'm currently at over 500 quid.

Following weekend we celebrate Euan's 7th birthday with a weekend in Edinburgh with kids seeing the sights. Also the Zoo hopefully.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
