Christmas 2011

Clan Hamilton had a great christmas this year. A quiet family 1. I was working with side of that day, so another day off was very welcome.

Kids got a PS3 between them and other stuff. They've managed not to fall out YET. Lol. Or I take it off them. For myself. Haha.

Maryann's mum and dad were up for dinner in the afternoon.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
