ISO5 Review by a Apple Enthusiast who does not own a IMac (Yet..)

 

Over last few days I've been lucky enough thanks to someone to be able to add the ios5 beta release to my IPhone. For those people that know me over last 2 years I’ve become a bit of a fan….. lol

I need to say a big thank you to Michelle over on twitter – whose own review has been the best way to summarise the features.

I'm a big fan of the twitter integrated app and the notifications menu.

I've also put this my ipad2 and apple TV so I can mirror the content of the ipad2 screen to my TV. i.e. like bbc iplayer.. brilliant to watch and so easy to use.

The video above is the best summary of the new features. I've just whipped an early copy which is not perfect. Some bugs but operates well. lol

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
