First sign of Spring.

Today I would say was prob best day of the year so far. A really nice day, albeit a tad chilly in the morning. Afternoon was sunny, blue sky's and prob in the early teens degrees Celsius wise lol.

I day and the lawnmower noises from nearby neighbours could be heard and on that thought, I did the same. Gave garden a quick tidy and brushed dust off the petrol lawnmower and gave the grass a number 3 lol.

So a bit early but welcome spring 2011. You've been missed!!

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
