>Newcastle Indulgence

>Well after an afternoon of shopping and a shower and glam up we jumped into a taxi and went to the gate area of Newcastle. Dinner in tgi Fridays was nice. Nachos to share then a last min change to stripped chicken for main. Washed down with a nice bottle of wine.

Then the pub crawl started. A few drinks in banatynes bar owned by Duncan lol then around the gate to various places. Had a great time.

Ended up dancing the night away in a place across from ant and dec's pub the loft.

Home just after 2am. Spent a small fortune.

Now going to do some more shopping then home later today.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
