Lazy Bastard Day

Today has been 1 of those days off I've done not much. And god has it been fantastic.

Got up at 1pm -Caught up on some telly. Made soup then lasagne. Hoose work and got dressed at 4pm lol.

Much needed. Rest before Sundays 110 mile ' Pedal for Scotland '

(Had to get a cycle comment into my blog) haha.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
