Hello 2013
Well Happy New year to you all. Hope you had a great new year. Here we went for a meal and decided to stay local as we had won tickets to a party in our local pub.
We went down around 9pm and enjoyed an absolutely fantastic evening. Some great company, good food and music, right on our door step. Defo do the same next year. Rolled in at stupid o'clock and as usual over done the eating and drinking. But it's new year right ? Lol.
New Year's Day was a bit of a write off. Felt like shit even over the steak pie dinner at 5pm with the inlaws. An early night was planned.
Woke up this morning. Jan 2nd - Dettox day. Thought. 30 mile cycle. Start as I mean to go on. Looked out the window and it was pissing of rain. - but thought. Fuck it. I AM GOING OUT.
So I dawned the waterproof trousers and top and grabbed the bike and done 33 miles.
1st run of many this year. Even if I got wet.
