Emily and Amy Corbett

This week was chuffed to see the safe arrival of Emily (5lb 5oz) arrived at 4.50pm on Sunday 25th September 2011, followed 1 min later by her wee sister Amy (3lb 3oz) - identical twin sisters to a good pal Brian and his wife Susan Corbett.

Congrats and best wishes for the future.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
