Year Round Commuter, Cyclist and Adventure Seeker.

On wed night I was having a nosey around Gumtree and noticed several postings for Take That tickets. Now Im not a fan. Lets clarify that to begin with, but I knew Maryann wanted to go and I had tried to get them last year when they went on sale. I managed to get a pair at less than face value for the Thursday night gig. Purchased from a kind seller in Elderslie. So it was a nice surprise for Maryann. They were being supported by the pet Shop boys so we wanted to get up their sharp. We parked in Shawlands and walked the 1 mile to Hampden. Which in hindsight was easier than parking close by. I admit I enjoyed it.. There!. LOL Was a good concert. Fantastic stage. Some videos: Photos here

  Over last few days I've been lucky enough thanks to someone to be able to add the ios5 beta release to my IPhone. For those people that know me over last 2 years I’ve become a bit of a fan….. lol Video of the ISO5 detail which will be available in the Autumn in the UK:   I need to say a big thank you to Michelle over on twitter – whose own review has been the best way to summarise the features. I'm a big fan of the twitter integrated app and the notifications menu. I've also put this my ipad2 and apple TV so I can mirror the content of the ipad2 screen to my TV. i.e. like bbc iplayer.. brilliant to watch and so easy to use. The video above is the best summary of the new features. I've just whipped an early copy which is not perfect. Some bugs but operates well. lol Screen shots above.

Been a busy few weeks since we returned from Derry. Shame its been work work work!. Had my annual stocktake so the hrs recently have been many, with few days off. However the pain that these things are – need to be done and things are back to normal…. lol Went out for a bit of dinner on Sat night and a few drinks with Maryann.. Sunday was a lazy day and settled down to watch the Godfather trilogy (well start it)… as I got alone of it off someone at work.. Funny thing is this fanny did not realise we watched part 2 before part 1.. so got a bit muddled.. lol In other news appears that babies are in the air!- not in Clan Hamilton they are not. Awaiting to see wee Emma, latest edition to the Gordon household. Friends also Brian and Susan are expecting their first around late Dec. – Identical twins.. Fantastic News. I am off thurs fri this week and hoping weather is improved to get some hill walking in !! Anyway that's about it. 4 Weeks on Sunday to Cyprus. Canny wait..
