Family Afternoon Out!

Well had a great day out with the kids and some friends of ours. Went tenpin bowling and took advantage of a family deal for an hr. I got beaten by a wumin. Lol. Not good.

Then we all went to pizza hut for dinner. Good end to an Easter hol day off with the family.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
