It's amazing how the sun shining on a bright crisp morning can make you feel great ! I'm on a day off after working fri sat sun. Taking Euan to school, the sun is out. The sky is blue , albeit a bit chilly. I love days like this. Music is on, some quick house work. Patio door open and the day is mine. All thanks to feeling great on a nice sunny day lol. Today I would say was prob best day of the year so far. A really nice day, albeit a tad chilly in the morning. Afternoon was sunny, blue sky's and prob in the early teens degrees Celsius wise lol. I day and the lawnmower noises from nearby neighbours could be heard and on that thought, I did the same. Gave garden a quick tidy and brushed dust off the petrol lawnmower and gave the grass a number 3 lol. So a bit early but welcome spring 2011. Been feeling really icky recently. Not unwell but Just been feeling a lack of motivation, a bout of non inspiring self loathing which just seems to have snow balled this week. I've been quiet. Withdrawn. I don't know reason. Just am. I've had plenty of hols from work lately. Works fine. Home life normal. When I sleep it's like under 5 hrs. Then I come in from work knackered and need to sleep for a few hrs, then I'm up late and it starts again. Maybe I'm just bored but it's a feeling I dont like and I need a kick or something to snap me out of it. Today Euan celebrated his 6th birthday. Yesterday we took him out for a celebration in the form of dinner at Frankie & Bennies with Nanna & Pappa McKellar. We all had a great time and today Euan got lots of Pressies... Here is a couple. I like my big remote control car.... Lol I also got a cake and Mum, Dad and Andrew sang happy birthday. Reading reports in press that Phil Collins has announced that he will not be playing again and announced his retirement. I had taken this with some 'pinch of salt' as he had said this before but based on the message to his fan base today then this is a defo. Not good. I've been a big fan of his solo stuff and most of my friends know how much of a nutter I am on the music and history of the group Genesis he fronted for 30 years. I hope that this is not the final story, but he appears to have been panned in the press in recent weeks and he has set the story straight. Well. That's the end of my week off. What a weekend. Well and truly knackered. It's a quite 1 for me for the next 3 weeks. Can't keep up the pace. Enjoyed a quick trip to Stirling on fri. Went out for dinner to a fantastic restaurant called Ziggy Florelles. Then a few local pubs. On Sat morning We went around the town and I visited Stirling Castle. Great times. We got back home late Sat afternoon then I had a quick power nap and went to Ayr. Works night out. What a laugh. A few sore heeds this morning, I can tell you. Today we were out again!- taking Euan out for a birthday meal (he's 6 on mon- I'll blog that sep ! Lol) - went to Frankie & Bennys in Irvine with Nanna and Papa McKellar. Nice meal. So as I write this I'm nearly sleeping. Lol. It's been a hectic few days and not often I say this but glad to be back to work for a rest. Lol.
