Now your fundraising page (West Highland Way Cycle - 1 DAY) has closed, I am writing to say a huge thank you for raising £1451.25, including Gift Aid, for the Vanessa Riddle Appeal.

Because of your fundraising effort, the Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance UK can help children with this aggressive cancer. You enable us to extend a caring hand to families who need our support. And your generosity also means we can fund neuroblastoma research.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
