This is 1 of the most important BLOG's Ive written-

I always feel bad banging on about charity stuff we do... Hence this blog and not the constant FB/Twitter updates.

3 Weeks the mora. -Myself and Neil (I am sure you know) embark on an almost 475 mile cycle run from the top of our country Scotland- from John O Groats to the Border.

This is the single biggest challenge I have ever done... This will test me emotionally as well as physically. - and we are asking for donations to Cancer Research UK. 

We will update our progress as we go live. - Money is coming in / over £200 so far, 4 sponsor sheets out as well as the online site.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
