Hinckley Weekend

We are down till Sunday visiting the Reilly's then my Uncle Alex on Sunday in Solihull. We left at about 930am and arrived a bit later than planned as had to endure a 2 hr jam on m6 near J19-22.

Anyway. Got here safely. And planning what to do over weekend.

Dinner tonight and a catch up then see what we are doing.

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
