Holiday

Well that's us now away for our holiday. Though that it would never come. We left Mauchline at 8am this morning and headed for Manchester. Arrived at 1230pm and straight through check in as we were rather early lol. A bit too early Maryann will no double tell u.

We have had a bit of a wait. A 2hr delay. I'm righting this on the iPad in a Starbucks where there is free wifi lol.

Anyway an hr to the flight. Not long now :)

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
