River Ayr Walk

I had a few days hol this week sp I decided to take full advantage and complete the River Ayr Walk.

This is Scotlands first source to sea river walk and starts 44 miles away from the entrance to the firth of Clyde in Ayr, at a small loch in the small dwelling of Glenbuck in deepest Ayrshire, almost on the border with North Lanarkshire.

This is the Website

I started at 7am and was doing it over 2 days. Follows the river through Murkirk to Sorn and the Catrine.

Day 2 then continues near Mauchline to Failford, Stair, Annbank then to the entrance at Ayr Port to the sea.

Day1 was 23 miles and day 2 22 miles approx.

Day 2, I was joined by my mate Alan.
