First Snow Fall of Winter 2010

Well Scotland's had It's first snow fall of winter 2010/11 this week and as usual the reaction is that this country cant cope with the White stuff that comes every year.

Last year was bad, one of the worst we have had for a good 20 years and if going by what the reports are in the press, or take what long range weather forecasts are saying this winter is going to be the same as last year.

I say we need to get a grip and get on with it. Countries like Finland and Norway get it a lot worse than we do and it's a way of life for them. I can't understand how this country comes to a complete standstill at the first dump of 8 inches of snow.

In Ayrshire this week we seem to have missed most of this first fall, infact we have had very little compared to North Lanarkshire.

Any way Scotland and UK in true Hamilton style, I comment 'get a grip, and get oan with it' lol....
