Wow what a weekend that has just finished. Back to work the mora.

Started on Fri night when a very excited Andrew went on his first ever cub camp to Glennifer near Paisley.

We would not see him till Sun, but he got back today exhausted and full of talk of his adventures… He had a great time.

Fri night saw me take MA to the some of the XFactor guys at Ayr town hall.. Was ok, the beer numbed the pain lol.

Sat was the Annual Holy Fair and we took the kids down during the day for some fun, with Barry, Hazel and their kids- Callum and Jamie joining Euan..:

Sat evening we then went out to the Stair Inn for a lovely meal then some drinks in a rather busy village.. Sunday was spent recovering LOL…

Its not an uncommon fact that the weather recently has been very poor, a mixture of rain, hail, snow, gale force winds and everything else being chucked at my part of the world. .. so it was a very pleasant change to wake to nice sunny weather - and I thought Im grabbing my bike and going a run for what seems like the first time in weeks. - on a Day Off. Done the usual route home-Kilmarnock, join the cycle path to Irvine, then down to Ayr via Troon. Then back up the B743 to Mauchline. 44 Miles and a very good cycle.  Planning more on Sat, Hopefully a 60 Miler. - Weather looks ok..
